WHO WE HELP 02 / 04

A space to be
yourself.

The teen years can feel like everything is changing at once. Counseling offers room to talk things through, make sense of the pressure, and find a way forward that feels like your own.

CARE FOR TEENS

You don’t have to have
it all figured out.

Between school, friends, family, changing expectations, and a growing sense of independence, adolescence can be full of both possibility and pressure. Some days the world feels exciting; other days, overwhelming.

Therapy is a place where teens can be curious about what they think and feel without needing the perfect words. Together, we can explore patterns, learn useful tools, and make space for what matters to them.

HOW WE CAN HELP

The things we can
make room for.

Support is shaped around the teen, not a checklist. Conversations may include:

Stress & overwhelm

Navigating academic pressure, anxiety, demanding schedules, and the need for rest.

Identity & self-worth

Making sense of who you are, what you value, and how you want to show up.

Friendships & family

Working through conflict, shifting relationships, and the wish to feel understood.

Emotions & coping

Recognizing feelings, building regulation skills, and finding more helpful responses.

WHAT SESSIONS CAN LOOK LIKE

A real conversation.
On your terms.

Teens need a space that respects their growing independence while recognizing that supportive adults still matter.

  1. 01

    Find a starting point

We talk about what life feels like right now, what is working, and what you would like to be different.

  2. 02

    Explore without judgment

Sessions create room to reflect on thoughts, feelings, and relationships, and to practice strategies that make sense for you.

  3. 03

    Build toward what matters

We check in on what feels useful and adjust as your needs and goals evolve.

FOR TEENS & PARENTS

Privacy and connection can coexist.

Trust is essential. Amy will explain privacy, confidentiality, caregiver involvement, and any safety-related limits before care begins, in a way that fits the teen’s age and applicable rules. The goal is to support both the teen’s voice and their wider support system.
